The Administrator Mode Code is education. It is used when switching from Student mode to Administrator mode and works only on an approved administrator device. It helps prevent accidental changes to calendars, subjects, student trackers, assignments, or setup information.

How is LessonLine usage calculated?

Each set of materials you process counts toward this allowance. Usage is based on the amount of text, number of pages or images, and how much processing the material requires. File-count and size limits still apply. Your estimate is shown before processing.

Children’s privacy and age policy

Read the age policy completely. Children under 13 may have an adult-managed planner but may not directly use Lessons in Line.

Lessons in Line is intended for adults and students age 13 and older. An adult may manage a planner for a younger child, but the child may not receive Student Mode, a PIN, independent access, or student-device access.

Information collected

The service may collect the student name or nickname; subjects, assignments, schedules, tasks, instructions, and completion activity; student permissions and protected PIN-verification data; approved-device, workspace, account, browser, and device identifiers; IP address; authentication and security signals; and browser-stored information needed to operate and synchronize the planner.

Lessons in Line does not ask a child for an email address, birthdate, home address, telephone number, precise location, payment-card information, photograph, or administrator password. Please do not enter sensitive personal information in planner fields.

How information is used and disclosed

Information is used to provide, synchronize, support, and secure the private planner; apply adult-selected permissions; authenticate approved access; prevent abuse; troubleshoot problems; comply with law; and protect users and the service.

Planner information is available only within the private workspace to its adult administrator and permitted users and devices. It is not posted publicly, sold, or used for targeted advertising. Google Firebase and Google Cloud process limited information for hosting, authentication, database synchronization, file scanning, storage, and cloud functions. Firebase App Check and reCAPTCHA Enterprise process security signals to prevent abuse. When an adult chooses LessonLine or TaskLine, OpenAI processes the selected clean material to return the requested result. Lessons in Line uses store: false, and OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default; OpenAI may retain limited API content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days, or longer when legally required. Stripe processes adult payments and does not collect payment information from children through Lessons in Line.

Children’s planner information is kept while the account is active and may be preserved after expiration for renewal or recovery. It is not intentionally kept indefinitely and is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer reasonably necessary for the service, security, consent records, legal obligations, or the other purposes in the Privacy Policy.

Administrators may review, correct, or delete information in the adult-controlled workspace or request assistance by emailing lessonsinline@gmail.com.

Confirming this notice does not authorize a child under 13 to use Lessons in Line directly.
